Santa arrives in Valley Falls
The children and their parents waited for Santa Claus inside the township hall to avoid a cold wind but were all smiles when the old fellow arrived in Valley Falls Dec. 11. Santa arrived on a fire truck driven by District 11 Captain Bill Klenklen. Santa got a list of most everyone’s wishes before heading back to the North Pole. Santa’s deep, hearty “Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas” sounded just like local teacher Chris Hansford. The Valley Falls Chamber of Commerce sponsored his trip and the Vallerian Club members were there to assist and take pictures.
