Reported accidents:

Nov. 18, 4 a.m.: Mark W. Saxby, 21, Olathe, was traveling northbound on US 59 Hwy. near McCall Road when he swerved to miss a raccoon and lost control of his vehicle and went into the ditch.

Nov. 22, 10 a.m.: Bridget L. Langston, 24, Oskaloosa, was backing a vehicle owned by Oskaloosa USD 341 when it struck a pole.

Nov. 23, 6:52 a.m.: A vehicle driven by Todd L. Baker, 36, Meriden, was traveling southbound on K-4 Hwy. when a vehicle driven by Rhett K. Mosqueda, 17, Topeka, pulled out from Oakwood Drive. Baker did not have time to avoid a collision.

Nov. 23, 6:18 p.m.: Patrick Saffer, 18, Lecompton, was backing out of a parking stall on Walnut Street in Oskaloosa and began to proceed forward. Wade R. Adams, 47, Oskaloosa, was backing out of a parking stall and did not see Saffer and the vehicles collided.

Nov. 28, 1:03 p.m.: Wendy S. Traul, 42, Lawrence, was traveling westbound on K-92 Hwy. near 102nd Street when her vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a rock wall.

Nov. 30, 3:28 p.m.: At the intersection of Liberty and Warren Streets in Oskaloosa, vehicles driven by Amanda Rowland, 23, Oskaloosa, and Michelle Peck, 15, both entered the intersection at the same time and collided.
