Merle Molly Schuster Bergin
Merle Molly Schuster Bergin, 93, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at the Jefferson County Memorial Geriatric Center, Winchester, Kansas.
Mrs. Bergin was born June 2, 1917 in rural Ozawkie, the daughter of Paul H. and Gertie Metzger Schuster. She married Victor M. Bergin Sr. July 28, 1937, in Perry. He preceded her in death July 23, 1990.
Survivors include four children: Margaret (Steve) Dick, Perry; Victor M. (Cynthia) Bergin Jr., Meriden; Mary J. (Charles) Luse, Winchester; and Regina Lacy, Las Vegas, Nevada. Seven grandchildren: Brenda (Dave) Schmalstieg, Vicky D. Luse, Amy (Lance) Hoover, Matt Dick, John (Gina) Bergin, Kelly (Richie) Bergin-Schrick, and Jeannie Kowalski. Three great-grandchildren: Jake, Faith, and Addison.
Services were Wednesday, Nov. 24, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Perry. Burial was in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Perry.
