Judy Householder

Judy Irene Annis Householder, 70, Perry, died Oct. 20, 2010, at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

She was born Oct. 21, 1939, at Lawrence, the daughter of Thomas Newton and Verna Mae Sumner Annis. She was a 1957 graduate of Perry Rural High School.

She worked as a switchboard receptionist for the Williams Equipment Company in Olathe, retiring in 2002. She had also worked at Price Chopper in Olathe. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry.

She married James R. “Jim” Householder June 3, 1977, at Maimi, Okla. He survives at home.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Scott Rafferty, Lawrence, and Todd Allen Rafferty, Topeka; two daughters, Sheryl Lea Lang, Perry, and Pam Kay Featherly, Perry; four brothers, Jack Annis and Richard Annis, both of Perry, Mike Annis, McLouth, and Chuck Annis, Topeka; two sisters, Iva LaDean Jorgenson, Lecompton, and Mary Jane Easum, Perry; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Annis.

Mass of Christian Burial was Oct. 23 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Perry.

Memorials can be made to Midland Hospice and sent in care of the Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, 66066.
