Motor vehicle accident reports:

Oct. 1, 5:54 a.m.: Jessica T. Wells, 17, Meriden, was traveling westbound on 81st Street near Clark Road when she lost control of her vehicle going around a curve.

Oct. 2, 12:40 p.m.: Brandon J. Wynkoop, 23, Valley Falls, was pulling out of a driveway to make a right-hand turn onto Clark Road near 39th Street. A vehicle driven by Bryan D. Hollingsworth, 32, Topeka, was traveling southbound on Clark Road. Wynkoop’s front end clipped Hollingsworth’s vehicle. Hollingsworth’s vehicle went into a ditch and into a fence.

Oct. 4, 2:40 a.m.: Matthew T. Abramovitz, 18, Valley Falls, was traveling south on K-4 Hwy. near 39th Street when his vehicle struck a horse in the roadway.

Oct. 4, notified 7:29 a.m.: A vehicle traveling on U.S. 59 Hwy. near 27th Street reportedly was heading northbound when the vehicle went left of center, left the roadway and came back onto the roadway and began sliding. The vehicle hit the reporting party’s mailbox and post and then slid across their driveway and into a ditch and rolled over. The vehicle was not there when officers arrived on the scene. The owner of the vehicle is identified as Jessica R. Wiles, Perry.

Oct. 4, 1:00 p.m.: An unidentified person returned to their vehicle that was parked in the lot of F.W. Huston Medical Center in Winchester to find damage to their left rear quarter panel and left rear passenger door.

Oct. 7, 10:02 a.m.: Heather M. Reid, 35, Ozawkie, was driving a vehicle on Jefferson Street, Oskaloosa, and was attempting to turn into a parking lot when her vehicle went into a ditch.
