Despite delay, Dragons celebrate victory and homecoming

Alex LedererDragon senior Alex Lederer made long yardage on this carry, which was called back on a penalty. He repeated on the next play for the final score putting Valley Falls up 36-20 over the McLouth Bulldogs.

A thunderstorm rolled in to spoil homecoming at Valley Falls Friday night and shut the game down with 4 minutes left in the first half. The Bulldogs were up 20 to 12. The game was postponed until 6 p.m. Saturday when the Dragons went on to score 24 points and held the Bulldogs scoreless.

The crowning of royalty was moved to the gymnasium Friday night where Brooks Glassel and Morgan Streeter were honored with the titles of king and queen.
