Jon Wolfe

Jon James Wolfe, 46, Emporia, died Dec. 29, 2009, at the Newman Regional Health emergency room.

He was born July 15, 1983, at Falls City, Neb., to Wendell Leon and Bonnie Louise Monroe Wolfe.

He was a retired crane operator. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of the Lowry-Funston Post No. 1980, Veterans of Foreign Wars, a trustee of the Emporia Eagles Lodge No. 2587, and attended the Salvation Army Citadel.

He was a former resident of Oskaloosa.

He Married Debra Boggs Davy June 1, 2001, at Emporia. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Leiters Ford, Ind.; a brother, Nick Wolfe, Emporia, and a sister, Wendy Bowman, Colvert, Ind.

Graveside services with military honors were conducted Jan. 4 at Hillside Cemetery, Toledo.

Memorials can be made to VFW Post No.1980 or the American Diabetes Foundation and sent in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, 605 State Street, Emporia, 66801.
